This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee virtual instructional programs tailored for students with ELL requirements
• Regularly consult with learning coaches and students to facilitate the successful completion of instructional programs
• Engage in all phases of the ILP process
• Collaborate with educators and district professionals to ensure compliance of the ELL program with federal and state laws
• Provide virtual instruction utilizing technology
• Deliver instruction to students in grades 4-12, across Language Levels 1-4
• Manage and offer instructional guidance, virtual teaching, and general strategies for a caseload of students
• Identify and assess potential ELL students
• Create, write, and assist in implementing ILPs
• Organize WIDA testing schedules
• Complete necessary ELL DOE state reporting tasks
• Evaluate assessments and tests, prepare progress reports, and hold parent conferences
• Communicate with parents and learning coaches about ILP objectives and student requirements
• Collaborate with teachers to design specialized instruction for students with ELL needs and possible learning challenges
• Provide direct services through web conferencing software as necessary
• Schedule, coordinate, and conduct ILP-related meetings online
• Assist teachers and learning coaches in developing and executing program modifications and strategies for ILP students
• Handle paperwork, documentation, and processes for the ILP procedure
• Monitor students who have exited LEP services during the monitoring period
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the school's Education Management System
• Aid in state testing and coordinate accommodations as required by ILPs
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in ELL (K-12)
• Valid Tennessee ELL certification
• Familiarity with Title III policy
• Residency in Tennessee
• Strong technological proficiency, particularly with Google and Microsoft Office products
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-oriented mindset
• High level of adaptability
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of being a team player
• Willingness to occasionally travel for state testing events, which may involve overnight stays
