Elementary Virtual Math Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct enthusiastic elementary school students in online virtual classrooms.

• Implement a problem-solving-based curriculum to conduct participation-oriented classes that emphasize deep understanding instead of rote memorization.

• Teach in small classes with an average of 12 students, comprising high-performing and motivated learners.

• Create a virtual learning environment that both challenges and stimulates advanced students while ensuring their attention and participation.

• Simplify complex mathematical concepts to make them accessible and engaging for elementary students.

• Encourage student-led discussions that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Manage virtual classrooms and sustain student engagement using platforms such as Zoom.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is mandatory.

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring elementary-level students is essential.

• Preferred: Experience with advanced or gifted students in mathematics, particularly at the elementary level.

• Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms such as Zoom is required.

• A formal teaching credential is not necessary for this role.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the US.

• Sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B, is not available.
