This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Collect, organize, and compile patient data and records to streamline the billing process within an electronic documentation environment.

• Prepare accurate and consolidated patient data for the Electronic Records Department.

• Follow up on any missing documentation, including dictation and patient records.

• Address departmental requests for additional or missing information.

• Develop a thorough understanding of the daily operations within the department and the organization.

• Execute and assist with various departmental tasks as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of two years of experience with computers.

• Previous experience in document imaging is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficient knowledge and skills in utilizing basic personal computers in a Windows environment.

• Familiarity with medical insurance and associated terminology is beneficial.

• Competence in operating various office equipment, including scanners and copiers.

• Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality.

• Skill in organizing and processing assigned duties effectively.

• Attention to detail is essential.

• Ability to identify, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies.

• Capacity to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.

• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.

• Ability to identify emerging issues and relay them to management.

• Demonstration of leadership by committing to teamwork, aligning with company and departmental goals, aiding others in their understanding of the organization, adapting positively to change, and working independently with minimal supervision.

• Capability to assist in conflict resolution by persuading others through explanation and approaching conflicts positively.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds.

• Close visual acuity is required to perform the job effectively.
