Electrical Superintendent – Rotational

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate all electrical construction initiatives.

• Manage daily project operations and collaborate with company leadership and on-site personnel.

• Supervise construction activities across multiple job sites.

• Organize work sites and ensure accountability for project timelines.

• Manage the overall project scope and direct work crews.

• Report on employee performance, working conditions, and overall productivity.

• Ensure availability of safety equipment and uphold safe job-site conditions.

• Monitor adherence to federal safety regulations and company safety policies.

• Confirm that workers utilize safety gear and inspect sites to identify and remedy potential hazards.

• Maintain high standards of work quality produced by employees.

• Conduct supervised activities of workers as needed.

• Provide estimating assistance for smaller maintenance projects.

• Perform additional duties relevant to the success of the department or unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or ten (10) years of directly related experience as an Electrical Superintendent will be accepted.

• A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience as an Electrical Superintendent in the construction sector is mandatory.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Must provide personal tools for the project site; a tool list will be supplied upon hiring.

• Must be able to work with personal tools and be willing to undertake related labor and electrical tasks alongside the crew.

• A valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record for the past three (3) years are preferred for eligibility under the company vehicle insurance policy.

• Valid identification is required for passage through TSA security checkpoints.

• Steel-toed boots are mandatory on the job site.

• Ability to frequently carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear on a frequent basis.

• Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and utilize taste or smell.

• Close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision capabilities, along with the ability to adjust focus.

• Ability to work in outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, and around moving mechanical components.

• Capacity to operate in wet or humid conditions, high places, and in the presence of fumes or airborne particles, as well as toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, radiation, vibration, and moderate noise.
