This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Execute the installation, programming, startup, testing, and certification of designated Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.

• Provide customer training related to the assigned projects.

• Primarily engage in small to medium-sized projects that are generally less complex.

• Take on larger, more intricate projects when necessary and as capabilities allow.

• Successfully deliver assigned projects within the budget and time constraints, with assistance as needed.

• Contribute to the Recruit Awesome People initiative by recommending talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.

• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

• Fundamental construction skills and familiarity with system plans.

• Basic capability to read and interpret blueprints and design drawings.

• Knowledge of wiring and labeling techniques, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support).

• Basic mechanical and electrical understanding.

• Proficient in using hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, hacksaws, and crimpers.

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings.

• Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate area, velocity, resistance, and voltage for certain positions.

• Basic construction experience with some exposure to electrical or low voltage work.

• Preferred but not mandatory: 1-3 years of relevant experience in electronic/electrical work, fire alarm and life safety systems, data-cable installation, and/or building automation.
