Electrical Industrial Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and prompt electrical cost estimates.

• Examine project plans, specifications, and other documentation to ascertain project requirements.

• Utilize Accubid and Bluebeam to develop detailed cost breakdowns.

• Assess project scopes and formulate thorough material and labor estimates.

• Investigate and secure pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

• Review subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.

• Deliver cost estimates to management and clients.

• Engage in pre-bid meetings and necessary site visits.

• Keep precise records of estimates, bids, and associated documentation.

• Finalize estimates promptly, meeting client expectations and adhering to company standards.

• Willing to travel up to 20%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Industrial Electrical or Data Center experience is REQUIRED.

• Experience in electrical estimating is flexible; proactive and eager learners are encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with estimating software, including Accubid/Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is essential.

• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, and processes.

• Exceptional mathematical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Must be capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, and walking, including for extended periods.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States through E-Verify.
