eLearning Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop interactive and responsive web-based learning modules utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Articulate Storyline, and various LMS tools.

• Support the editing or creation of custom LMS pages and oversee the management of eLearning Team files hosted on AWS servers.

• Create tailored course graphics, visual assets, and multimedia content using Adobe Creative Cloud or Camtasia.

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to transform course scripts into engaging experiences that are based on adult learning theory, cognitive psychology, and gamification principles.

• Perform thorough self-quality assurance to ensure clean, well-commented code, and check for accessibility, links, and responsive layouts.

• Keep organized files, folder structures, and naming conventions in shared drives.

• Provide task estimates, communicate the status of projects, and adhere to project deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in front-end web development and eLearning development.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of API integrations, SSO authentication, and AWS file hosting.

• Proven experience in navigating, building, or customizing enterprise LMS environments.

• A portfolio that highlights custom graphics, UI/UX layouts, and video/audio editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite or Camtasia.

• A solid foundation in adult learning theory, UI/UX design principles, and complex interactivity design that goes beyond basic multiple-choice formats.

• Excellent attention to detail, strong time-management abilities, open communication, and a systematic approach to code and file management.

• A portfolio demonstrating custom code, interactive learning samples, and original media assets is required for submission.

• Candidates must reside in one of the designated eligible U.S. states for remote work opportunities.
