EHR Deployment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation and deployment of PMO, coordinating go-live activities and site readiness for designated federal healthcare deployment sites and cohorts.

• Aid in conducting site readiness evaluations, pre-go-live checklists, readiness reviews, and deployment preparations.

• Support incident command and command center functions during go-live events.

• Monitor, escalate, and report on operational issues, incidents, risks, and gaps in readiness in real-time.

• Track and document go-live activities, incident patterns, and stabilization progress.

• Collaborate with site leadership, clinical personnel, technical teams, implementation partners, and PMO staff.

• Assist in post-go-live stabilization, operational oversight, transition-to-sustainment coordination, and reporting on stabilization efforts.

• Maintain go-live coordination plans, site readiness trackers, incident logs, deployment status reports, and operational summaries.

• Engage in coordination meetings, readiness reviews, operational workgroups, and deployment planning sessions.

• Create go-live status updates, incident summaries, stabilization reports, and deployment briefings for PMO leadership and federal stakeholders.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and other relevant tools for coordination, tracking, documentation, and reporting.

• Travel to federal healthcare facilities approximately 25% of the time for go-live events, readiness activities, command center operations, and stabilization initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Health, Management, Health Informatics, or a related field is required; relevant equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of project management experience in healthcare IT, EHR deployment, go-live coordination, or similar implementation activities.

• At least 5 years of experience working within or supporting Federal Government programs or similarly regulated environments.

• 3–5 years of experience in supporting Electronic Health Record implementation, deployment, or go-live activities in a project management or operational coordination role.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for onsite go-live events and deployment activities at federal healthcare facilities.

• Proven experience in EHR implementation, go-live coordination, deployment readiness, or operational stabilization activities.

• Familiarity with go-live coordination practices, site readiness methodologies, incident command operations, command center processes, and stabilization activities.

• Experience in tracking and escalating operational issues, deployment risks, readiness gaps, and incident items.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and related project coordination tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders.

• Preferred experience with Oracle Health Millennium/Cerner, Epic, or other significant EHR platforms.

• Preferred background in federal healthcare programs, government healthcare modernization initiatives, or regulated healthcare environments.

• Preferred experience in hospital, clinic, or ambulatory healthcare operations.

• Preferred knowledge in health informatics or clinical workflow integration.

• Preferred PMP, ITIL, or related project management certification.

• Preferred Master's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
