This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assess book submissions and prepare reader reports.
• Assist with copywriting tasks.
• Conduct research on comparative titles.
• Participate in virtual editorial meetings.
• Offer insights derived from personal reading and editors’ submissions.
• Gain insights into the publishing process through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series.
• Aid in editorial efforts to help authors transform manuscripts into completed books.
• Must be prepared to work full-time by or before June 2028.
• No college enrollment or degree is necessary.
• Capable of working 28 hours per week throughout the program.
• Available and dedicated to work from June 7th, 2027 to August 12th, 2027.
• Must reside in the U.S. for the entirety of the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates should primarily work on Eastern Time.
• Submit a resume along with a cover letter.
• Specify desired adult-title genre(s) in the cover letter.
• Paid 10-week internship.
• Compensation of $21/hour.
