Easement Acquisition Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Examine engineering drawings and construction plans, working closely with engineering teams to identify ROW and permitting requirements.

• Locate and obtain essential permits and easements from federal, state, county, city, and private landowners.

• Facilitate negotiations for right-of-way acquisitions and other property interests to support telecommunications operations.

• Act as a point of contact between clients, property owners, local agencies, and permitting authorities.

• Keep precise and organized records of all transactions and relevant documentation.

• Draft and manage contracts and agreements while retaining detailed records of all transactions.

• Perform field visits as necessary.

• Acquire and oversee rights-of-way, permits, and land access agreements that aid in broadband infrastructure deployment.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, surveyors, landowners, and local jurisdictions to ensure effective and compliant project implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or a High school diploma or GED coupled with equivalent experience).

• At least two (2) years of experience in Right-of-Way and easement acquisition, real estate, or land services for telecommunications and related infrastructure projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of eminent domain laws, real estate principles, title research, and land valuation.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel as needed.

• Familiarity with GIS and land management software is an advantage.
