
Early Career Trainee – Field Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address service calls to execute repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct planned maintenance, safety, and environmental inspections with minimal oversight.
• Maintain strong customer relations and daily communication to ensure effective resolution and appropriate follow-up.
• Implement GE/customer facility contracts as directed, aligning with business goals and objectives.
• Support experienced technicians and Field Service Engineers with both basic and complex repairs or solutions.
• Collaborate as part of the local team to deliver efficient service within the designated area.
• Record all actions and submit reports or summaries as per the established schedule.
• Take care of spare parts, tools, and testing equipment; ensure calibration and maintain an approved parts inventory.
• Oversee vendor service delivery processes in accordance with GE policies.
• Improve and sustain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures for the safe and effective use of medical equipment.
• Comply with Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• A higher education degree is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a compliance environment, adhering to codes and procedures to guarantee safe and effective operation of devices.
• Proficient in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.
• Prior experience in developing and sustaining positive customer relations.
• Willingness to occasionally travel outside the assigned region.
