Eagle Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platforms, including Eagle Star and Eagle Pace.

• Engage in collaborative development within a relational database setting.

• Utilize Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL for programming tasks.

• Collect requirements and create comprehensive documentation.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Foster a cooperative team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with at least one Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platform, such as Eagle Star or Eagle Pace.

• At least 7 years of experience in team-focused development within a relational database environment.

• Minimum of 5 years of programming expertise in Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL.

• Preferred experience in Linux shell scripting or PERL scripting.

• Familiarity with C, C++, JAVA, or .NET in the Financial Services sector is preferred.

• Previous experience with BMC Control-M or similar job scheduling tools such as Cron, Tivoli, or Autosys is preferred.

• Experience with IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker or equivalent middleware like BizTalk is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, Scrum, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) is preferred.

• Background in the buy-side Investment Management Industry and data domains, including Equity, Fixed-Income, Security Master, Positions & Lots, Trades, Corporate Actions, Prices/FX Rates, Cash, and Benchmarks is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Cloud-Based Enterprise Data Warehouses (Azure) and familiarity with Data Bricks is preferred.

• Knowledge of Investment Management systems, such as Eagle or Charles River, is preferred.

• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to handle multiple projects at once.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Business Analyst skills, including requirements gathering, communication, and documentation capabilities.

• No specific educational qualifications are required.
