E-commerce Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain product listings, including images and descriptions

• Ensure accurate pricing, inventory levels, and product categories throughout the store

• Handle order processing, returns, and refunds

• Address customer inquiries regarding orders and products

• Assist with promotions, discount codes, and seasonal marketing campaigns

• Provide reports on sales performance, website traffic, and top-selling items

• Manage the daily operations of a UK online store

• Work from home during UK business hours as part of a South African team, collaborating directly with established UK employers

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in using an e-commerce platform such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento

• Able to write clear and precise product descriptions

• Familiar with Excel or Google Sheets for bulk product uploads

• Strong attention to detail regarding pricing, inventory, and product information

• Customer-oriented with excellent written English skills

• Experience with online marketplaces like Amazon or eBay

• Basic image editing skills using Canva or Photoshop

• Knowledge of Google Analytics
