Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Assist with presales initiatives and support the sales team.

• Perform demonstrations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O products.

• Analyze, implement, integrate, configure, and test D365 F&O solutions.

• Assess customer business processes in relation to standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.

• Record business requirements, necessary actions, and anticipated results.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure requirements align with business objectives and to comprehend current and future processes.

• Aid customers in their decision-making processes.

• Create functional design documents that guide development efforts.

• Execute user acceptance testing.

• Educate customer resources on how to utilize and maintain D365 F&O.

• Communicate with product vendors regarding customer and service issues.

• Ensure that the technical aspects of projects comply with standards for functionality, operability, and documentation.

• Coordinate resource adjustments across projects with project managers and team leaders.

• Act as a liaison between developers and clients.

• Conduct quality assurance and maintain documentation.

• Provide production support as necessary.

• Collaborate with global teams.

• Stay updated on the latest features and technologies of D365 F&O.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) with comprehensive project implementation experience.

• Background in developing functional specifications for D365 F&O enhancements and integrations.

• Proficient in the setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 F&O solutions.

• Familiarity with best-practices implementation methodologies and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.

• Strong grasp of core D365 F&O modules.

• Working knowledge of best practices in the relevant specialization/vertical.

• Technical knowledge or understanding of programming concepts is a plus.

• Capability to produce high-quality functional documentation.

• Exceptional requirements-gathering abilities.

• Logical problem-solving skills and a structured approach to operational system changes.

• Excellent business communication, presentation, and demonstration abilities.

• Proficient in multitasking, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.

• Experience in leading large, intricate technology projects.

• Understanding of business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.

• In-depth knowledge of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers.

• Confidence in providing user support and training.

• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse internal and external audiences.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer solutions.

• Some travel may be necessary; both domestic and international travel is expected.
