Dutch Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Suriname.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with the model in Dutch as spoken in Suriname and the Caribbean on a diverse array of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic correctness and cultural appropriateness.

• Record reproducible error instances.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation criteria.

• Document the failure modes of the language model to strengthen its reasoning capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Dutch language as it pertains to Suriname and the Caribbean.

• Profound knowledge of grammar, orthography, regional dialects, pronunciation trends, idiomatic phrases, and cultural nuances specific to Suriname and the Caribbean.

• Capability to assess colloquial expressions, contextual understanding, tone adjustment, syntactic correctness, and semantic clarity.

• Relevant professional experience in teaching, translation, localization, or editorial roles is advantageous.

• Ability to communicate clearly and metacognitively—“showing your work”—is crucial.

• A degree in Linguistics, Translation, Dutch Language, Literature, or a related discipline is preferred.
