Duck Creek Configurator II, III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Set up rates, rules, and forms within the policy administration system (PAS) under guidance.

• Oversee the Operations helpdesk, assess and escalate requests, and provide level-one helpdesk support.

• Address technical assistance inquiries in-person, via phone, or through electronic communication.

• Grasp business and regulatory requirements prior to implementing changes in PAS configuration.

• Analyze and assess business systems and user requirements.

• Implement authorized PAS configuration modifications and verify functionality.

• Resolve product-configuration issues identified during testing.

• Conduct peer reviews and quality assessments of configuration adjustments.

• Document requirements, use cases, and user narratives.

• Keep knowledge-base documents up to date.

• Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.

• Adhere to code-deployment best practices utilizing local repositories and pull/push/merge workflows.

• Maintain documentation in JIRA, service desk, and Confluence.

• Create regular project status reports for management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a field with an analytical focus, typically in mathematics, computer science, or accounting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office products.

• Previous experience conducting analytical or quantitative tasks using spreadsheet/database software applications.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments effectively.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Permanent U.S. work authorization is mandatory.

• Employer sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

• Preferred familiarity with insurance, insurance products, regulations, and methodologies.

• Preferred knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

• Preferred solid understanding of the Duck Creek Author tool.
