This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.
β’ Support the monitoring of the Operations helpdesk, triage incoming requests, escalate as necessary, and provide level-one helpdesk assistance.
β’ Address technical support inquiries in-person, via phone, or through electronic communication.
β’ Comprehend business and regulatory requirements prior to implementing configuration modifications in the policy administration system.
β’ Assess, analyze, and evaluate business systems along with user requirements.
β’ Utilize policy administration system configuration tools to implement authorized changes and verify functionality.
β’ Resolve defects identified during product configuration testing.
β’ Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance testing on configuration adjustments.
β’ Record requirements, including use cases and user stories.
β’ Keep current knowledge-base documentation up to date.
β’ Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.
β’ Adhere to code deployment best practices, including local repository management and pull/push/merge operations.
β’ Maintain precise records in JIRA, service desk, and Confluence.
β’ Produce regular project status reports for management.
β’ Bachelor of Science in a field with an analytical focus (commonly math, computer science, or accounting).
β’ Skilled in the use of MS Office applications.
β’ Experience with Microsoft Office software.
β’ Previous experience in conducting analytical or quantitative tasks using spreadsheet/database software applications.
β’ Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage several projects and assignments simultaneously.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Proficient presentation capabilities.
β’ Familiarity with insurance, insurance products, rules, and methodologies is preferred.
β’ Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
β’ Solid knowledge of the Duck Creek Author tool.
β’ Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
