Duck Creek Configurator II, III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Configure sections of the policy administration system, including rates, rules, and forms, under supervision.

• Oversee the Operations helpdesk, triage and escalate requests, and provide level-one helpdesk support.

• Set up new users in applications and assist with password management.

• Address technical assistance requests in person, via phone, or electronically.

• Comprehend business and regulatory requirements prior to implementing changes in the policy administration system.

• Review, analyze, and assess business systems and user requirements.

• Implement approved configuration changes and test for functionality.

• Resolve defects identified during product configuration testing.

• Conduct peer reviews and quality testing on configuration modifications.

• Document requirements, including use cases and user stories.

• Maintain knowledge base documentation.

• Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.

• Adhere to code deployment best practices, including local repository management and pull/push/merge operations.

• Keep accurate records in JIRA, service desk, and Confluence.

• Create regular project status reports for management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field with an analytical focus, such as mathematics, computer science, or accounting.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

• Previous experience in performing analytical or quantitative tasks using spreadsheet/database software applications.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments effectively.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Familiarity with insurance, insurance products, rules, and methodologies is preferred.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle is preferred.

• Solid knowledge of the Duck Creek Author tool is preferred.

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
