Drug Discovery Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create realistic research challenges for cutting-edge AI models in the fields of drug research and development.

• Discover the underlying basin and forcing chain that lead to an inevitable conclusion.

• Compile a source-verified data room using authentic data, ensuring that every critical value can be traced back to a genuine source.

• Develop grading documents that assess submitted memos based on substance rather than style or methodology.

• Conduct verification and calibration prior to submission.

• Modify tasks in response to reviewer feedback.

• Act as the final authority on scientific and complexity-related inquiries for assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge in mechanistic enzymology, structure-guided peptide or antibody design, fragment-based discovery, or structure-based medicinal chemistry.

• PhD or a comparable industry experience.

• Capability to formulate rigorous, defensible research questions that cannot be simplified through pattern recognition or lookup.

• Comfortable evaluating the quality of reasoning, not just the final outcomes.

• Commitment to at least 20 hours per week, with a maximum of 40 hours.

• Must utilize a browser-based studio in conjunction with Claude Code.

• Claude Max subscription is mandatory.
