Drinking Water Regulatory Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Support the Public Water Systems Director with the submission of applications and the organization of construction and operational permits.

• Aid the Regulatory and Compliance Director in monitoring Public Water System compliance by securing laboratory quotes, arranging courier pickups, and dispatching sampling supplies.

• Assist the Public Water Systems Manager in overseeing compliance projects in collaboration with third-party laboratories.

• Review and input laboratory and field monitoring data, as well as process compliance reports.

• Help in the preparation and submission of drinking water reports to state and federal regulatory bodies.

• Contribute to the maintenance of regulatory requirements for Public Water Systems.

• Generate iChlor® Remediation Reports and iChlor® Hybrid Reports.

• Offer guidance and training to the Sales Team regarding Public Water System compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License.

• This role does not offer immigration sponsorship.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Holding a Drinking Water Operator License is necessary.

• Relevant educational background and/or previous professional experience in municipal drinking water systems, the EPA Safe Drinking Water Act, and waterborne pathogens such as Legionella bacteria.

• Strong attention to detail and the capability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential.
