This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to gift data from Development, Finance, and program teams.
• Address ad hoc requests for records, reports, and reconciliation information.
• Prioritize and manage competing stakeholder requests, communicate timelines, and highlight any delays.
• Collaborate with Development Operations to identify recurring challenges and develop streamlined processes.
• Enter donor gifts into Salesforce on a weekly basis, including checks, ACH transactions, and non-cash contributions.
• Process and record third-party fundraiser donations on a monthly basis.
• Adhere to gift-entry standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report process gaps to the Director of Development Operations.
• Review data quality reports and address any discrepancies.
• Manage electronic and postal gift acknowledgments, including during peak year-end periods.
• Maintain and refresh acknowledgment templates as needed.
• Organize special acknowledgments for significant donors or campaigns.
• Assist with bulk data imports and updates.
• Facilitate gift reconciliation between Salesforce and financial accounting systems.
• Generate standard Salesforce reports and help colleagues interpret the results.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing service-oriented support to fundraising or similar data-focused teams.
• A systems-oriented thinker capable of recommending solutions and troubleshooting issues.
• Proven experience with data entry in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform, ideally within a nonprofit context.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organization.
• Clear and proactive communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent and competing requests while prioritizing effectively.
• Capacity to work independently while remaining responsive to team needs.
• Availability to assist with year-end fundraising activities, potentially working up to 29 hours per week during December and early January.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising operations and donor management is preferred.
• Experience with third-party fundraising platforms and/or Apsona is a plus.
• Previous experience in internal operations support involving shared inboxes, ticketing systems, or high-volume internal request management is preferred.
