This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +15 more states.
• Act as the technical expert for Machine Identity Management and Trust.
• Collaborate with Sales Account Executives to facilitate intricate enterprise deals.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions and align business goals with NGTS architecture.
• Create and deliver tailored demonstrations and solutions.
• Plan, implement, and oversee product integrations and proofs of concept/value in enterprise sandbox and customer environments.
• Build and maintain technical trust with CISOs, Security Architects, PKI teams, and DevOps leaders.
• Offer expert advice on IT security best practices for machine identities and certificate lifecycle management.
• Manage and complete technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and security evaluations.
• Provide feedback from the field to Product Management, R&D, and Marketing to influence product improvements and go-to-market strategies.
• Take ownership of technical success across assigned accounts and complex sales cycles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Solution Architect, or Technical Consultant in enterprise cybersecurity software.
• Comprehensive understanding of cryptography fundamentals, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), TLS/SSL, SSH keys, X.509 certificates, HSMs, and Post Quantum Computing challenges.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Active Directory/LDAP, MS-SQL, load balancers, and web servers.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration toolsets.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Salt, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Demonstrated adaptive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent persuasive skills to educate technical teams and C-level executive audiences on complex security threats.
• Ability to identify and prioritize technical necessities while navigating interdependencies to remove sales barriers.
• No immigration sponsorship is available for this role.
• Preferred: experience with Venafi, CyberArk Trust Protection Platform, CyberArk CM SaaS, KeyFactor, or AppViewX.
• Preferred: CISSP, CISM, or relevant AWS/Azure/Kubernetes (CKA) certifications.
• Preferred: experience with Palo Alto Networks Next Gen Firewalls, Panorama, or Strata Cloud Manager.
• Preferred: proficiency in development and scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, Perl, Python, or Go.
• Preferred: familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Gemini.
