This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality assurance evaluations on Medicare and Medicaid investigation and audit file documentation.

• Ensure that the adequacy of information and product quality aligns with or surpasses client expectations.

• Verify that documents adhere to federal regulations and internal quality control standards.

• Collaborate closely with investigators and administrative action personnel to deliver comprehensive, high-quality products.

• Efficiently and promptly fulfill document requests, working both independently and as a team member.

• Manage and prioritize various document types and requests on a daily basis.

• Confirm the accuracy of Protective Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Review document contents and communicate with requestors regarding inquiries or necessary revisions.

• Address priority requests in accordance with CMS guidelines and metrics.

• Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with health privacy laws, rules, and regulations.

• Report on workload status and activities.

• Review the creation and revisions of documents, verifying correct versions prior to distribution.

• Approve completed products, return documents for further revisions, and verify rework.

• Document review findings through reports and logs.

• Engage in and support both internal and external audits.

• Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2 years of experience with a BS/BA; no experience required with an MS/MA; 6 years with a HS Diploma or equivalent.

• Strong editing and review skills.

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and industry standards, including HIPAA and content review.

• Detail-oriented proficiency in reviews.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

• US Citizenship is required.

• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.
