This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with sales teams to achieve and surpass sales targets through strategic technical account planning.
• Position, showcase, and design security architectures across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
• Architect intricate environments encompassing network security, security operations, and cloud security.
• Propel customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks security platform.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and align solutions with customer needs.
• Lead proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and product demonstrations.
• Work in conjunction with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption.
• Articulate complex security concepts to both technical practitioners and executive leadership.
• Coordinate Specialists, Channel Partners, and Customer Support resources to ensure customer success.
• Advocate for comprehensive security solutions and partner professional services.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging security threats.
• Contribute to personal growth, the District Systems Engineer community, and industry events.
• Facilitate cross-training and platform expertise across SOC, Cloud, Networking, and NetSec.
• Advance toward portfolio architect expertise encompassing NGFW, SASE, SOC, Cloud, and Unit 42 consulting services.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships while applying consulting skills.
• Design and architect large, complex environments.
• Develop business acumen with potential progression toward CTO/CIO/CISO-level leadership.
• Act as a technical leader, role model, and mentor for junior Systems Engineers.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering or completion of the SC Academy.
• Knowledge of data networking, security architectures, and contemporary cloud computing environments.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives is preferred.
• Ability to influence and gain the support of key stakeholders.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in a pre-sales role.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Experience collaborating with Customer Support teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
• Experience in complex sales involving lengthy sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions is preferred.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated district.
• This is a field sales position; travel may be necessary to support in-person customer meetings.
