This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the designated territory and meet both monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Assist OEM Customers, Installers, Integrators, Design Houses, Cable Assemblers, and authorized Channel Partners with LAPP product offerings.
• Manage customer pipelines and strategize daily, weekly, and monthly sales calls utilizing CRM, Time and Territory Management, and mobile app tools.
• Provide channel support for OEM opportunities and project-related business.
• Offer technical assistance for customer design needs.
• Leverage Inside Sales, Product Management, and Marketing resources to enhance territory growth.
• Oversee internal order processing and verify delivery requirements with clients.
• Implement the LAPP Sales Effectiveness Program, which includes territory planning, account management, and effective selling techniques.
• Organize joint sales calls with territory counterparts for end-users.
• Cultivate OEM relationships, collect account information, introduce LAPP solutions, and secure test and trial proposals.
• Collaborate with LAPP technical personnel and customer engineers to assist in integrating products into design layouts and bills of materials.
• Establish connections with installation subcontractors and OEM purchasing departments to secure contracts.
• Follow up prior to and during installations to guarantee appropriate product knowledge and delivery.
• Address and resolve service gaps.
• Conduct follow-ups post-project to evaluate satisfaction, acquire reference letters, and foster repeat or new business opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience in the wire & cable industry.
• Proven experience in selling Harnessing services, Industrial Data cables, and/or Industrial Data Connectors products and understanding their applications.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Familiarity with Lotus Notes and internet applications.
• Willingness to travel frequently by car or air, including overnight trips; approximately 3–4 days of travel each week.
• A valid driver’s license and passport are required to be maintained.
