This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Oversee and expand an established sales territory in Alaska
• Identify avenues to enhance customer relationships, boost market share, and generate new business
• Collaborate with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to meet their business requirements
• Sustain existing business while actively seeking and developing new opportunities
• Market metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors
• Implement customer education and contractor training initiatives
• Aid contractor pull-through sales efforts
• Work alongside operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams
• Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions
• Assist customers in transitioning through ongoing product and system integration efforts
• Travel within the assigned territory and visit customer/job-site locations
• Ascend ladders and inspect rooftops during customer claim or project evaluations
• Preferred 3–5+ years of sales experience
• Strongly preferred experience in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries
• Highly preferred understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels
• Valued experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles
• Excellent relationship-building skills with a focus on consistent customer follow-up
• Self-motivated individual with the capacity to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, customer-oriented sales environment
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management capabilities
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with clients
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and adapt to various systems and technologies
• Frequent travel within the assigned territory, up to 60%
• Capability to climb ladders and inspect rooftops
• Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be necessary
