This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Lead and inspire the Sales Pro team to meet and surpass sales targets.
• Propel commercial sales while promoting the NAPA Commercial Value Proposition.
• Ensure customers are informed about and purchase NAPA programs, promotions, products, and services.
• Communicate monthly wholesale strategies and tactics, assign objectives, and hold sellers accountable.
• Implement sales programs and initiatives directed by HQ.
• Formulate sales strategies to reach revenue goals and enhance market share.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for gross-margin expansion and price maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to prepare store-level investment business cases.
• Monitor sales metrics and KPIs; prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
• Oversee prospecting for new accounts and the growth of underperforming accounts; ensure account registration in RAM.
• Cultivate relationships with store teams, customers, and executive leadership through collaboration and influence.
• Assess regional and district store sales performance against strategic objectives and budgets.
• Generate accurate district sales forecasts.
• Recruit and select sales team members while supporting succession planning.
• Coach, provide feedback, conduct district sales meetings, and ensure completion of necessary training.
• Partner with store leadership to enhance store efficiency and service delivery.
• Manage unmanageable debt collections and maintain expenses within budget constraints.
• Uphold compliance with company values, policies, safety, health, labor, and employment regulations.
• Utilize NAPA CRM tools to track leads, document customer interactions, and schedule sales calls.
• Facilitate NAPA AutoTech training sessions and identify IBS prospects.
• Travel locally and by air for up to 50%–75% of the time.
• High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in leading a sales team.
• Comprehensive understanding of fundamental selling skills, including sales-call preparation, conducting customer meetings, managing objections, closing sales, and maintaining accounts.
• Strong familiarity with NAPA operations and systems, or the capability to learn swiftly.
• Exceptional management, multitasking, time-management, team leadership, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to adapt to shifting business priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to distill detailed information into concise, actionable recommendations.
• Sound ethical judgment and discretion.
• Capacity to drive transformational change and execute strategies.
• Collaborative approach with an ability to foster trust within a complex organization.
• Ability to inspire, empower, and motivate a remote team as necessary.
• Availability to work business hours within the designated territory or region.
• Proficiency in technology, including CRM systems, inventory management software, and sales tools.
• Willingness to relocate within the division.
• Physical capability to lift up to twenty-five pounds as needed.
• Ability to perform required physical tasks, including standing, walking, pushing, reaching, climbing, stooping, and handling objects.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Remote work designation.
• Coverage for local and air travel expenses/arrangements for up to 50%–75% of work time.
