District Manager – Long Island

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Drive profitable sales growth across a designated geographic region comprising multiple stores.

• Maintain responsibility for the key financial outcomes of the district.

• Lead and cultivate the store management team.

• Create and sustain a diverse, high-performing store management team through effective selection, development, and motivation.

• Offer coaching, mentoring, and guidance to achieve district and regional objectives.

• Communicate business and financial targets effectively.

• Analyze district performance and provide insights to the regional director.

• Develop a district sales strategy aimed at achieving profitable growth.

• Guide store teams to meet sales and payroll budgets.

• Promote a selling culture and ensure a positive customer experience.

• Ensure consistent application of brand visual standards.

• Collaborate with Loss Prevention to ensure policy compliance and achieve shrink goals.

• Drive performance management and support associate development.

• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit retail is required.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Ability to devise competitive and innovative strategies and plans.

• Proven track record of selecting high-performing talent and developing effective development plans.

• Capability to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, customers, and the public.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret moderately complex financial reports.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to internal applications.

• Ability to facilitate and deliver programs, processes, and concepts to groups of managers.

• Extensive knowledge of the retail landscape with the ability to identify trends.

• Capacity to inspire and motivate teams or organizations.

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
