This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Optimize store sales by enhancing customer service, ensuring product availability, effective merchandising, and maintaining store aesthetics.
• Summarize promotional activities and relay business opportunities, outcomes, trends, and competitive insights to store management.
• Oversee controllable expenses, which include merchandise discrepancies, salaries, overtime, cash handling, and repair and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions and new product launches, providing input on stock challenges.
• Work closely with vendors to guarantee product availability and uphold professional performance standards.
• Manage cash flow, merchandise discrepancies, salaries, and controllable costs to ensure the store operates profitably.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, government regulations, and restricted sales protocols.
• Ensure a safe and secure working environment while delivering safety communication and training.
• Anticipate financial needs, create annual budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures.
• Lead and guide store managers through recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, training, performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and necessary corrective actions.
• Comply with legal, ethical, and moral standards in company operations.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise.
• Meet financial and key performance targets in accordance with company standards.
• Travel by car for approximately 50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred; alternative combinations of relevant experience and education may be accepted.
• Preferred three to five years of retail business experience or more.
• At least two years of management experience is required.
• Proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, self-direction, self-motivation, and a strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency in both oral and written English communication.
• Capability to supervise and train Store Managers in the use of store equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ability to oversee and manage functions as described in the Store Manager job responsibilities.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear; handle or grasp items of various weights; stand, walk, and reach.
• Capacity to occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead, and up to 40 pounds from ground to waist.
• Ability to push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force.
• Capability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to work in moderate store conditions and occasionally endure extreme temperatures in coolers/freezers.
• Willingness to travel by car 50% of the time.
