Distribution Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and supervise the ERP order flow, including the release, allocation, creation of shipments, tracking load progression, monitoring fulfillment status, and ensuring invoicing readiness.

• Create, sustain, and enhance daily and weekly reports that focus on order status, backlog, aging, inventory availability, shipment readiness, service performance, and process exceptions.

• Conduct analysis of high-volume transactional and operational data utilizing Excel, Power BI, ERP reporting tools, and authorized data platforms.

• Develop and refine reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.

• Reconcile data across ERP, warehouse, transportation, inventory, and reporting systems to identify disruptions.

• Examine exceptions through structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis; formulate recommendations and coordinate corrective actions.

• Take ownership of assigned issues until resolution by validating data, coordinating necessary actions, tracking progress, and confirming resolution.

• Recognize recurring trends and process gaps; propose changes to minimize manual tasks, eliminate errors, and enhance reliability and efficiency.

• Establish repeatable exception-management routines, standard work processes, reporting methods, and controls.

• Collaborate with Customer Service, Distribution, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, Inventory, Planning, Finance, IT, and other departments.

• Escalate issues appropriately with comprehensive findings, probable root causes, business impacts, and suggested actions.

• Promote continuous improvement, automation, documentation, compliance, safety, quality, and internal control requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP or equivalent functions, SUMIFS, IF statements, filtering, sorting, conditional formatting, data validation, reconciliation, and handling large datasets.

• Experience with Power BI or a similar business-intelligence platform.

• Practical experience in an ERP environment such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or an equivalent system.

• Strong analytical abilities and structured problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with order management, inventory, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and shipment execution.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, prioritization, ownership, and follow-through.

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least two years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, order management, transportation, inventory, business analysis, or a related operational field is required.

• Experience with operational ERP, Excel, and Power BI or a comparable BI tool is essential.
