Director, Vendor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance with predefined internal and/or regulatory performance standards.

• Gather, track, and present vendor performance metrics to the management of the business unit.

• Set clear expectations and communicate vendor performance in relation to established performance metrics.

• Create, implement, and monitor annual goals and targets for vendors.

• Ensure that necessary vendor performance improvement plans and/or corrective action plans are initiated and completed as required.

• Verify that vendors maintain the necessary performance improvements/outcomes through regular audits.

• Conduct oversight meetings with vendors, internal stakeholders, and other partners.

• Manage health plan participation in annual delegation audits.

• Ensure that audit deficiencies are addressed and corrective actions are carried out effectively.

• Facilitate communication between vendors and internal partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in vendor management, particularly in government programs healthcare or related operational areas.

• Proficient in MS-Project or similar project management software.

• Skilled in MS-Office applications.

• Experience in project management, administration, or operations in the healthcare sector is preferred.

• Background in training/education and statistical analysis is desirable.
