This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee and spearhead transformation initiatives for Patient Financial Services revenue cycle on behalf of clients.
• Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Create reports, presentations, and documentation to track and communicate the progress of Patient Account initiatives.
• Enhance tracking tools while developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that focus on quality, processes, financials, and patient satisfaction.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Patient Financial Services for clients and team members.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and client representatives to tackle business challenges and tailor implementation methodologies accordingly.
• Analyze data, report on denial and procedural trends, and suggest corrective measures.
• Formulate scalable transition plans to ensure sustained improvements.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of revenue cycle assessment and implementation methodologies.
• Assess current operations and design blueprints for transitions to the target future state.
• Set measurable goals and priorities that align with organizational objectives.
• Handle, protect, and disclose protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity within revenue cycle services, ideally in a healthcare hospital environment.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare operations related to patient accounts, including billing, insurance/self-pay collections, and denial prevention.
• More than 7 years of experience in healthcare consulting.
• Proven track record of successfully directing large-scale Patient Financial Services strategic development and implementations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• High-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience in project leadership and workplan management for opportunity assessments within a consulting firm focused on patient financial service revenue cycle areas.
• In-depth understanding of revenue cycle management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with state and federal governmental, legal, and regulatory provisions related to front-end revenue cycle operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and flexibility to work beyond standard business hours.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
• Occasional travel and flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
