Director Técnico – Software Architecture, Technology Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical cross-reference for knowmad mood to key clients.

• Provide technical insights, align, and enhance horizontal technical activities in services and pre-sales.

• Engage in the complete client operation: planning, pre-sales, and execution.

• Maintain direct technical communication with clients.

• Develop pre-sales, define solutions, and present both global and specific capabilities of knowmad mood.

• Create proof of concepts and pilot solutions.

• Unblock projects or clients when a solution becomes challenging by investigating issues at a low level.

• Promote best practices and infrastructure for development projects, including code repositories and IaC.

• Participate in technical strategy meetings with representatives from technology communities.

• Propose and lead technical initiatives, including artificial intelligence and new technologies.

• Design and define robust and scalable architectures aligned with business needs and quality standards.

• Analyze the technical feasibility of solutions, technologies, architectural approaches, and trade-offs.

• Translate between business and technology, managing communication and expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a software or solutions architect, including design, estimations, risk management, and implementation of enterprise solutions across various technologies.

• Minimum of 3 years serving as a technical reference for clients, managing technical leaders.

• Leadership skills and extensive experience with agile methodologies.

• Experience with Generative AI applied to software development.

• Creativity, an inclination for innovation, and initiative to propose and lead new ways of working or organizing teams.

• Proven ability to take on management responsibilities, lead teams, and maintain client relationships.

• Experience in closed projects.

• Experience in technical pre-sales: solution design, estimations, documentation, risk management, and client presentations.

• Extensive experience defining software architecture: architectural patterns, hexagonal architecture, SOLID principles, microservices, and EDA.

• Proficiency with various backend and frontend languages and technologies.

• Experience and knowledge in Data.

• Design and management of REST/SOAP APIs and API Management.

• Experience with infrastructure and cloud services: AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Focus on software quality and continuous improvement of development processes.

• High level of English proficiency.
