Director, Supplier Transfer PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee and cultivate a global team of around 30 employees distributed across various regions.

• Establish and manage the Global Supplier Transfer PMO.

• Spearhead organizational transformation, capability enhancement, and the development of operating models.

• Drive talent management, succession planning, workforce growth, and leadership coaching initiatives.

• Create scalable processes for supplier transfer, governance frameworks, and operational mechanisms.

• Take ownership of portfolio prioritization, resource distribution, risk management, and executive reporting.

• Manage end-to-end supplier transfer programs, ensuring production readiness and stabilization.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Manufacturing, Service, Logistics, and Product Management teams.

• Facilitate project execution, milestone tracking, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.

• Utilize digital tools and automation to enhance visibility, resource planning, and decision-making processes.

• Implement KPI-driven governance, executive dashboards, and operational review frameworks.

• Promote data-driven decision making through portfolio assessments, visual management, and standardized reporting.

• Monitor and achieve outcomes related to costs, resilience, supply continuity, capacity, and growth.

• Advocate for Lean principles and continuous improvement throughout the supplier transfer lifecycle.

• Lead initiatives for process simplification, standardization, digitization, and automation.

• Enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and the adoption of innovative working methods.

• Encourage accountability, innovation, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in program management, sourcing, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or transformation-related organizations.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large global teams and fostering high-performing organizations.

• Experience in managing complex cross-functional initiatives that yield measurable business outcomes.

• Expertise in establishing PMOs, governance structures, KPI systems, and executive dashboards.

• Demonstrated success in driving organizational transformation, change management, and the evolution of operating models.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders within a global matrixed environment.

• Master’s degree (MBA or technical discipline) is preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience in leading supplier transfers, sourcing transformations, PMOs, or large-scale operational change initiatives is preferred.

• Background in managing organizations of 25+ employees across multiple regions is preferred.

• Experience in talent management, organizational design, leadership development, and change management is preferred.

• Background in healthcare, medical devices, aerospace, or other regulated industries is preferred.

• Familiarity with digital technologies, analytics, and automation to enhance business performance is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
