Director, Supplemental & Group Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee analytics projects that align with the priorities of the Supplemental & Group business.

• Perform and manage in-depth analyses to uncover trends, root causes, risks, opportunities, and performance factors.

• Convert analytical insights into actionable business recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.

• Collaborate with business leaders to implement the analytics strategy and prioritize key initiatives.

• Mentor, guide, and grow a team of analysts.

• Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and business definitions.

• Spearhead the creation and improvement of dashboards, reporting systems, and analytical solutions.

• Present performance outcomes, trends, risks, and suggestions to senior management.

• Drive cross-departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with enterprise Data and Technology teams on data warehouse and related projects.

• Assist with data requirements, definitions, validation, governance, adoption, and transformation processes.

• Act as a subject matter expert in analytics regarding data quality, structures, flows, governance, and business definitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related area.

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, operations, or a comparable field.

• Proven experience in leading and developing analysts while managing multiple analytical priorities.

• Expertise in executing complex analyses and translating results into actionable business insights.

• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and achieving measurable operational enhancements.

• Strong understanding of finance, operations, and process management.

• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.

• Experience in supporting enterprise data warehousing, data transformation, or related enterprise data initiatives.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, project leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
