This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee payer contract modeling initiatives across various markets and service lines
• Create, maintain, and regulate reimbursement models
• Provide support in reimbursement modeling, financial analysis, and payer negotiation
• Mentor team members in modeling techniques and analytical best practices
• Direct the development, maintenance, and pricing governance of the chargemaster
• Collaborate with leadership on price transparency reporting, dashboards, and market insights
• Manage the aggregation, validation, and interpretation of pricing and reimbursement data
• Lead analytics personnel to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
• Establish standards, controls, and governance processes for modeling, analytics, chargemaster management, and reporting
• Represent Health Plan Relations on integration committees for acquisitions, new centers, mergers, and consolidations
• Direct ad hoc reimbursement analyses and analytical initiatives
• Foster continuous improvement through talent development, process optimization, reporting enhancements, and the advancement of analytical tools and technologies
• A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in healthcare or health plan analytics
• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, managed care contracts, reimbursement methods, and pricing strategies
• Proven capability to build and audit complex financial models
• Proficient in analyzing large healthcare datasets
• Skilled in developing reporting solutions and converting findings into actionable business recommendations
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Advanced Excel skills are essential
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, relational databases, and reporting tools is advantageous
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement both routine and custom reporting
• Effective communication skills with C-suite and executive leadership
• Excellence in delivering projects punctually using a structured project management methodology
• Working knowledge of ambulatory surgery payer contract methodologies
• Expertise in Excel-based modeling, analysis, financial reporting, or data analytics
• Experience in leading a team to meet business objectives
• An advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) is preferred
