This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting procedures for programs within the portfolio.
• Facilitate monthly variance discussions with budget managers to ensure programs achieve annual financial objectives.
• Manage expense forecasts and revise assumptions based on vendor contracts, program choices, and market developments.
• Develop and optimize financial models to enhance the precision of budgeting and forecasting.
• Recognize and evaluate risks, opportunities, and other monitoring elements.
• Assist with analytical initiatives such as unit cost assessments, ROI evaluations, targeted cost reduction efforts, and strategic finance assignments.
• Translate complex analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for business and strategic decisions.
• Create and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports.
• Design tailored strategic financial reports that provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Foster and maintain relationships with program and cross-functional teams.
• Act as a finance specialist and business partner for portfolio programs.
• 5-7 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects autonomously as well as collaboratively.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Significant experience in financial modeling.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience in summarizing intricate financial analyses and presenting key insights to senior management.
• Solid grasp of corporate finance principles.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with financial planning systems is preferred, such as Workday Adaptive Planning.

• Willingness to travel 4-6 times annually to College Board offices or for College Board-related business.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
