Director, Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, analyze, and impact the operational levers that drive the company's performance.

• Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Product, Customer Success, and leadership teams to enhance business results.

• Establish the framework, key priorities, KPIs, and outcomes for a comprehensive three-year strategic plan.

• Take ownership of and develop the three-year financial model through hands-on work.

• Influence management regarding initiatives, investments, growth objectives, and capital allocation strategies.

• Manage a team dedicated to supporting Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success with insights on business visibility and performance enhancement.

• Generate ideas for product diversification, new revenue streams, and mergers and acquisitions.

• Develop scalable operations utilizing Snowflake and dbt, while incorporating AI into workflows with the analytics team.

• Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company through effective risk management.

• Coordinate with various departments to align financial strategies with overarching business goals.

• Lead a high-impact team as an engaged player-coach.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience ideally encompassing FP&A, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, and financial/accounting services.

• A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.

• Exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to facilitate the budget process with various stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of GTM strategies, corporate finance, accounting principles, three-statement financial modeling, and SaaS KPIs.

• Proficient in Excel with the ability to create models from the ground up.

• Familiarity with financial reporting systems.

• Knowledge of Netsuite, Adaptive, and Tableau is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior management.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

• Capability to collaborate across functions and with Executive leadership.

• Strong sense of ownership and leadership initiative.

• Solid business acumen and the ability to understand evolving industry dynamics.
