This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee the creation and upkeep of intricate financial models for risk contracts, encompassing attribution, PMPM revenue, medical expense trends, quality initiatives, reimbursement frameworks, and performance scenarios.
• Act as a strategic financial partner to executive, market, and functional leaders.
• Convert financial and operational data into actionable insights, recommendations, and materials that support decision-making.
• Lead scenario modeling, risk assessment, and ROI evaluations for enterprise decisions, growth strategies, partnerships, new programs, and performance enhancement.
• Contribute to strategic planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial outlooks.
• Prepare materials for executives, the Board, investors, and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Analytics, Operations, Market Leadership, and Finance teams to analyze claims data and assess cost drivers, medical expenses, MLR trends, and overall financial performance.
• Conduct cross-functional analyses for programs, partnerships, market opportunities, reimbursement strategies, and value-based care projects.
• Develop and refine finance processes, reporting tools, and performance management methodologies.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance, and/or corporate strategy within a high-performing, fast-paced organization.
• Proficiency in creating complex financial models for forecasting business performance, assessing financial scenarios, and estimating project ROI or business impact.
• Experience in preparing presentation materials for executive and board audiences.
• Capability to translate intricate financial, operational, and healthcare data into clear insights, recommendations, and business decisions.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Nashville, TN, and/or other locations.
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or other healthcare analytics tools is preferred.
• A Master’s-level degree is considered an advantage.
