Director, Special Projects – Operational Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Define and guide the strategic roadmap for the Operational Excellence Action Team.

• Engage, align, and influence senior leaders and field operators to foster the adoption and execution of Operational Excellence goals.

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational transformation and implement scalable solutions.

• Develop, structure, and execute complex strategic projects from concept to execution.

• Identify operational challenges and emerging opportunities through both quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• Provide executive-ready recommendations and oversee the scope across Runway, Forge, and Pioneer innovation workstreams.

• Establish KPIs, governance rhythms, and tracking systems to assess the impact of initiatives.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives.

• Oversee agenda design, synthesized analysis, narrative creation, and executive presentations.

• Detect systemic gaps and workflow obstacles; design standardized processes, change management frameworks, and communication strategies.

• Create and maintain a critical-path project inventory, monitor variances, manage interdependencies, mitigate risks, and report on milestones and outcomes.

• Participate in ad-hoc executive initiatives, strategic deep-dives, and cross-lane Village projects.

• Expertise in designing standardized processes, change management frameworks, and communication strategies.

• Proficiency in tracking project variances, managing interdependencies, mitigating risks, and reporting on milestone statuses and outcomes.
