Director, Solutions Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build and lead a team of exceptional Solution Engineers.

• Act as a cultural ambassador for the organization.

• Cultivate strong partnerships and collaboration between AE and SE roles.

• Expand the East SE organization to over 20 Solution Engineers.

• Prepare the SE organization for scaling across various products, industries, segments, and GTM strategies.

• Create repeatable processes, playbooks, job architectures, enablement, and other scaling initiatives.

• Guide and advise on key opportunities in collaboration with the VP of Sales.

• Establish cross-functional relationships and encourage teamwork.

• Engage with customers in a strategic manner.

• Provide thought leadership both internally and externally.

• Ensure that field feedback shapes product and GTM strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred location is on the East Coast of the US.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in second-line SE leadership.

• Proven experience in scaling teams to more than 30 employees.

• Demonstrated success in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.

• Experience in open source, developer-focused GTM motions, or observability.

• Extensive background in complex, enterprise sales.
