Director, Software Engineering – Code Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product Engineering.

• Oversee the technology division for GHX’s Content Engineering portfolio.

• Manage geographically distributed engineering teams that provide solutions for Content Workbench, Price Workbench, and Contract Management services.

• Establish strategic direction, plan, and implement roadmaps for leaders and teams in Content Engineering.

• Utilize expertise in software engineering, data products, AI in the SDLC, and system architecture.

• Guide and mentor leaders across various locations while fostering high-performance cross-geographical teams.

• Cultivate relationships at all levels of the organization as a reliable leader.

• Propel strategy formulation, project management, analysis, problem-solving, communication, consensus building, and personnel development.

• Comprehend financial implications, oversee technology budget decisions, and anticipate future technology trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Over 15 years of Software Engineering experience within a SaaS environment.

• More than 7 years of experience in an Engineering Leadership position.

• Proven experience managing large teams (40+ members) and appropriately scaling a business based on available resources.

• Strong technical knowledge in cloud architectures, application architecture, engineering processes, and the SDLC.

• Experience with offshore development practices.

• Proven track record in building and leading geographically distributed teams to achieve key roadmap objectives.

• Experience in leading and mentoring leaders and managers to create high-performance organizations.

• Extensive domain expertise in Data, SaaS, and System Architecture.

• Significant experience in developing mission-critical SaaS/Cloud-based services.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside cross-functional partners and executives.

• Familiarity with high availability architecture and design for mission-critical applications.

• Experience in establishing CI/CD pipelines that incorporate security scans, code quality scans, unit testing, and automated testing.

• Proficient in cloud-based SaaS services, API and UI frameworks, and microservice architectures.

• Hands-on experience with GenAI and Agentic Frameworks.

• Preferably, experience within the Supply Chain domain.
