This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Lead a team responsible for SEC reporting, including the preparation of Form 10-K and 10-Q.
• Facilitate the efficient preparation of quarterly earnings releases and various investor relations presentations.
• Ensure that all non-GAAP disclosures are consistent and comply with SEC regulations.
• Conduct technical research on complex accounting and reporting subjects.
• Draft, review, and maintain global accounting policies and technical accounting memoranda.
• Evaluate administrative services related to share-based compensation plans.
• Provide assistance to external auditors during audits and interim reviews.
• Aid in the maintenance and updating of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 processes and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Experience with Big 4 or a large national accounting firm.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of SEC reporting regulations, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and revenue accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Workiva (Wdesk) and SAP (e.g., S/4HANA or ECC).
• Experience in managing share-based compensation administration.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Skills in project management, oral communication, analytical thinking, and written communication.
• Interpersonal and personnel management skills, with a keen attention to detail and a strong organizational ability, coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement.
