
Director, Salesforce Platform Architecture β Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead the design, construction, and implementation of Salesforce platforms throughout TKO.
β’ Take ownership of delivery for Sales and Guest Services on TKO Salesforce platforms.
β’ Translate enterprise technical vision into functional Salesforce capabilities.
β’ Oversee platform architecture, manage end-to-end roadmap delivery, and ensure application health and performance.
β’ Plan, scope, develop, test, and launch enhancements for Sales and Service from initial intake to production.
β’ Suggest and prioritize capability investments for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud product roadmaps.
β’ Manage system and data architecture, which includes object models, integration patterns, sharing, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.
β’ Define and track application KPIs, such as consumption, performance, adoption, reliability, and overall value.
β’ Govern licenses, credits, APIs, storage, and other platform usage against entitlements.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to convert objectives into prioritized platform plans and release timelines.
β’ Set delivery standards, maintain estimation discipline, and enforce release governance.
β’ Manage delivery capacity among employees and contractors, eliminate obstacles, and balance enhancement tasks with project demands.
β’ Oversee technical debt, design choices, and architectural compromises.
β’ Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture and security standards.
β’ Utilize performance and usage data to inform optimization, remediation, and roadmap strategies.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop the Salesforce platform team.
β’ Act as the primary platform contact for stakeholders, sharing updates on roadmap, delivery status, risks, and trade-offs.
β’ Collaborate with vendors and implementation partners on delivery, support, and roadmap coordination.
β’ Report directly to the VP of Business Systems.
β’ Over 8 years of experience delivering on the Salesforce platform, including at least 5 years in an architecture and/or leadership role focused on delivery.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
β’ In-depth, hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, covering configuration, data modeling, security and sharing, automation, and integrations.
β’ Proven experience managing system and data architecture on Salesforce, including integration patterns with external platforms and ensuring platform scalability and performance.
β’ Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end delivery processes β from intake and scoping to estimation, development, testing, release, and post-deployment support β using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
β’ Experience in defining and reporting on platform KPIs, such as monitoring license/API/storage consumption, performance, and adoption metrics.
β’ Proven ability to lead teams of administrators, developers, and/or contractors, with strong skills in stakeholder and vendor management.
β’ Awareness of security and compliance, including permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing models, and data governance practices.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Salesforce Certifications: Application Architect and/or System Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, and/or Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer.
β’ Experience in live events, sports, hospitality, media, or premium guest-experience sectors.
β’ Familiarity with marketing automation, CDP/identity solutions, CPQ, and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.
β’ Experience in scoping, developing, and delivering internal and external AI agents within Salesforce or using integrated AI tools.
β’ Experience operating within a DevSecOps model and collaborating with QA and security teams.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, or similar release management tools.
β’ Experience managing migrations or platform transitions along with the related change management processes.
β’ Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite support, projects, leadership offsites, workshops, training, conferences, and events.
