This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the commercial operations for designated customers, markets, or regions to achieve revenue, profit, volume, market share, and growth targets.
• Create, implement, and enhance integrated customer and commercial business strategies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers and cross-functional partners including Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Operations, Legal, Commercial Planning, Demand Planning, and Analytics.
• Lead the annual business planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
• Manage trade investments, profit and loss scenarios, pricing strategies, and financial objectives.
• Utilize customer, category, market, and industry insights to pinpoint opportunities and craft compelling value propositions.
• Formulate and implement category, assortment, distribution, pricing, merchandising, promotional, and portfolio strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate business performance utilizing internal and external data and analytical tools.
• Create accurate forecasts and balance demand, supply, inventory, and financial goals.
• Act as a business and category consultant to customers.
• Identify and implement strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
• Facilitate collaborative business planning with customer leadership teams through joint business plans and scorecards.
• Align and mobilize organizational resources to support key priorities.
• Lead, develop, and mentor sales and account management teams.
• Oversee business operations including budgets, trade investments, compliance, staffing, compensation, and commercial processes.
• Provide leadership in alignment with company strategy and promote collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and a customer-centric focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including large account management and commercial leadership.
• Capability to develop and implement strategic business plans, manage financial performance, analyze complex business issues, and align commercial objectives with broader organizational goals.
• Strong category management and customer planning skills are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and align resources to achieve business goals and customer solutions.
• Experience in people leadership is preferred, with a minimum of 5 years in leading, coaching, or supervising teams.
• Experience in the relevant industry and major customer/account management settings is highly desirable.
• Aptitude to lead, develop, and inspire teams; set clear objectives; manage performance; and drive results through others.
• Skill in influencing and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams and various organizational levels.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Experience with business intelligence, analytics, forecasting, and reporting tools is preferred.
• Willingness to travel independently up to 50% of the time, including occasional international travel.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to meet company driving standards are required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards.
