This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of a large and intricate program or multiple smaller programs.
• Plan, manage, and oversee program budgets.
• Establish both short- and long-term goals and objectives.
• Supervise associated special projects.
• Represent the program in national and international forums as required.
• Manage fundraising efforts from foundations, corporations, individuals, and government entities as necessary.
• Collaborate with representatives from various organizations.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures.
• Oversee staff supervision.
• Create and oversee EPICA’s student fellowship and internship programs, which include recruitment, selection, onboarding, portfolio development, student support, and assessment.
• Coordinate activities for research fellowships, manage application processes, engage scholars, and organize seminars, public lectures, and research presentations.
• Facilitate policy-relevant research focused on antisemitism, democracy, law, international relations, and history.
• Act as the primary contact for students in EPICA programs located in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and other approved sites.
• Assist in the professional development of students through advising, mentorship, workshops, and career networking.
• Develop programs, seminars, roundtables, and experiential learning opportunities for students in partnership with faculty, staff, visiting experts, and external collaborators.
• Monitor participation, fellowship outcomes, research activities, and program impact for reporting, donor stewardship, and strategic planning.
• Directly manage internships and fellows based in DC when applicable.
• Help facilitate year-long engagement with the federal government and represent EPICA as its sole senior staff member based in DC.
• Provide advice on EPICA’s annual budget.
• Lead, author, and coordinate public-facing research and educational initiatives, including lectures, workshops, and convenings.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment regarding sensitive issues.
• Undertake related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to program work with seven years of relevant experience, including two years in a management role, OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, staff, diplomats, and external partners.
• Strong skills in organization, writing, communication, and project management.
• Experience in handling sensitive issues with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
• Availability to work during Eastern (EST) time zone business hours may be required.
• Primary work location cannot be in New Jersey, Alaska, Hawaii, any U.S. Territories, or outside the United States.
