Director, Product Management

📋 Description

• Define and implement product strategies that enhance customer value, promote business growth, and establish a competitive edge.

• Create and convey a compelling vision, roadmap, and investment strategy for the product portfolio.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of customer requirements, market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

• Oversee product discovery, research, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making processes.

• Drive planning and execution of go-to-market strategies in collaboration with commercial, marketing, and customer-facing teams.

• Set product performance metrics and KPIs, utilizing insights to optimize outcomes and return on investment.

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to delivery and market adoption.

• Assess opportunities for building, buying, or partnering.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across product, technology, shared services, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership.

• Build and nurture a high-performing product management team that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Spearhead a SaaS product within the Academic and Government Solutions sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Product Management, including leadership roles within complex software or technology settings.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Demonstrated success in managing products or product portfolios that have achieved measurable growth and commercial success.

• Experience in leading and developing Product Managers and forming high-performing teams.

• Strong strategic thinking abilities and commercial insight.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the capability to influence at all organizational levels.

• Experience leveraging customer insights, market research, analytics, and experimentation to guide product decisions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate complex concepts.

• Familiarity with AI products and a spec-driven code-generation approach to product management is a significant advantage.
