Director, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the CEO while collaborating closely with the leadership team to transform business strategy into the product roadmap.

• Partner with engineering leadership to prioritize and define tasks that maximize customer value.

• Lead the product manager team in a player-coach capacity.

• Take ownership of specific product areas as an individual contributor while also managing and developing the team's skills.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Recast’s product and customer base, understanding technical user engagement, needs, and pain points.

• Create a detailed product roadmap for the upcoming two quarters and establish a systematic process for updates.

• Collaborate with marketing and go-to-market teams to co-own the launch of valuable, paid products.

• Set benchmarks for product metrics and success evaluation.

• Keep sales and leadership stakeholders updated regarding ongoing work and priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS companies, particularly with significant involvement in data or analytics products.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex technical products in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in launching API products and a solid understanding of how technical customers engage with products and how to specify them effectively.

• Background in productizing data-intensive statistical and machine learning models.

• Extensive experience working with AI tools.

• Capability to translate PhD-level statistical research into actionable engineering specifications.

• Strong written communication skills in a remote, asynchronous team environment spread across various time zones.

• Must be able to work remotely; Recast is currently unable to sponsor visas.
