📋 Description

• Identify inefficiencies in operations, performance gaps, and workflow obstacles throughout the organization.

• Oversee the redesign efforts for both current-state and future-state processes.

• Execute process enhancements aimed at reducing complexity, improving operational results, and enriching member and provider experiences.

• Set standards, best practices, and methodologies for continuous improvement.

• Direct cross-functional initiatives that align with strategic business goals and operational transformation.

• Collaborate with business leaders to assess operating models and discover opportunities for effectiveness and scalability.

• Create implementation plans and lead the execution of transformation projects.

• Facilitate the organizational adoption of new processes and operating models.

• Define performance indicators and success metrics.

• Analyze operational performance data to uncover improvement possibilities.

• Develop reporting and dashboards that illustrate initiative progress and business outcomes.

• Measure the operational, financial, and service impacts resulting from transformation initiatives.

• Build and manage a team dedicated to process improvement and transformation projects.

• Influence stakeholders across various business functions and foster alignment on improvement priorities.

• Provide guidance to leadership on operational performance, scalability, and continuous improvement.

• Mentor and develop team members directly reporting to you.

• Promote a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in provider operations, network management, healthcare operations, provider engagement, business transformation, operational excellence, or similar fields.

• A minimum of 5 years leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives within a healthcare, managed care, provider, MSO, IPA, or health plan context.

• Proven experience in developing business cases, transformation roadmaps, performance measurement frameworks, and executive-level presentations.

• Background in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong experience in developing KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance management systems.

• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare delivery models, provider performance management, referral management, care routing frameworks, and principles of value-based care.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Preferred: Experience with Medicare Advantage and a solid understanding of provider operations, network management, provider engagement, Stars performance, and value-based care.

• Preferred: Experience with the implementation of technology platforms, digital tools, AI-enabled solutions, or workflow automation capabilities.

• Preferred: Experience supporting delegated, risk-bearing, IPA, ACO, MSO, or integrated delivery system models.

• Preferred: MBA, MHA, or equivalent graduate degree with a focus on healthcare operations, strategy, or technology.

• Preferred formal training in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Project Management, Human-Centered Design, or Organizational Change Management.

• Preferred certification in process improvement, project management, or methodologies related to business transformation.

• Preferred formal training in product management, digital transformation, change management, or leadership in healthcare operations.

• Ability to carry out the essential physical functions of the role, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
