This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Act as a vital member of the Azelis US leadership team and the main point of contact between Azelis and its strategic partners.
• Develop and implement growth strategies for designated principals.
• Advocate on behalf of assigned principals internally and ensure effective communication and collaboration across executive, management, sales, supply chain, customer service, pricing, technical, laboratory, and technical development teams.
• Drive business growth, facilitate technical interactions, resolve issues, and promote value propositions.
• Oversee the sales pipeline, assess opportunities, and create strategies for expedited business growth.
• Collaborate with Technical Development Management to synchronize pipeline development objectives.
• Address supply challenges and assist in allocation decisions with supply chain and commercial teams.
• Engage with principal management, product strategy, sales, TDM, business development, marketing, pricing, business analysts, and R&D teams.
• Formulate and execute action plans to meet business goals.
• Create marketing strategies for assigned principal products and enhance market penetration.
• Coordinate activities among Marketing, R&D, Operations, TDM, and BDM.
• Partner with principals, TDM, and laboratory teams to manage technical projects, milestones, deadlines, and client requirements.
• Ensure accurate monthly forecasting and alignment with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
• Conduct reviews of sales and growth opportunities and implement strategic initiatives.
• Set segment-specific annual goals with input from cross-functional teams.
• Manage the setup, onboarding, and when necessary, offboarding of suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in Business Management, Business Development, Sales & Sales Management, Product Management, or Strategic Marketing, preferably within the industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Exceptional business acumen with a profound strategic understanding and the ability to make decisions at a P&L level.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.
• Technical knowledge and comprehension of relevant products and applications.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving and surpassing targets.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, showcasing leadership and initiative.
• Proficient in market research, data analysis, and forecasting tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required, including overnight and weekend travel.
• Travel is a key aspect of this position and may represent 30-50% of work time, including overnight and weekend travel.
